Fire Service Day & All-You-Can-Eat Pancake Breakfast

May 09, 2015
The Culver City Fire Department is preparing to open its doors to the public on Fire Service Day, which is slated for Saturday May 9th, 2015 from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm, at Fire Station #1. The event will kick off with the popular all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast from 8:00am to 11:00am, served by firefighters and City employees. Cost for the feast is $5 for adults, $3 for seniors and kids (kids under 12 free). The Open House will also feature guided station tours, activities for kids including a coloring contest with a chance to win Fire Department t-shirts, equipment displays, and even some fire coats to try on for the public. Culver City’s CERT team will be providing information and assistance, and Culver City Fire Department hats and t-shirts will be available for purchase.
As in the past, the Culver City Fire Service Day will be held on the same day as the huge custom auto show. Customized autos and merchants booths will line Culver Boulevard for several blocks near Fire Station One, which is located at 9600 Culver Boulevard. So mark your calendars and arrive hungry.
